CBBC is set to launch a new Bugbear website on November 10 that will let kids to discuss serious issues in an anonymous and entertaining way. The hub is designed to give children the ability to create richly animated CGI stories and recorded soundtracks to create their very own digital shorts.

The Bugbears site addresses a wide range of concerns commonly faced by children – from serious threats such as street crime and bullying, to lighter issues including bad food and pesky siblings.

Besides sharing their own stories through shorts, kids can check out other shorts and empathize with emoticons. They can also write comments on stories or post feedback on advice boards.
