London-based Cake Distribution has sold Fresh TV’s Total Drama Action, the spin-off of tween hit Total Drama Island, to Cartoon Network US.
The first TD series currently airs on CN’s Thursday night lineup and its dedicated website, which has attracted more than two million unique visitors within three months of the series premiere.
The sequel series picks up where the original leaves off, taking the contestants to a deserted film studio lot to compete in various challenges.
Total Drama Action is currently in production and will be delivered in 2009.
