Scholastic Media will undertake a targeted marketing and promotional campaign to mark the launch of Goosebumps HorrorLand, the publishing franchises’ first interactive console game.
After opening the NASDAQ stock exchange on Halloween (October 31), Scholastic Media will launch of Goosebumps HorrorLand with the help of the world’s fastest pumpkin carver, elementary school teacher Stephen Clarke. Clarke will attempt to break his current record of carving 42 pumpkins in one hour. In honor of his attempt, Scholastic will make a book donation to the school where Clarke teaches.
Concurrently, Scholastic and Toys ‘R’ Us in Times Square will host its own Goosebumps event with a live video game demonstrations and Goosebumps activities for kids. In addition, Goosebumps ads will run on the GeoffreyTron screen from now until the end of the year.
