Asian kids distributor Mango Distribution has picked up territory rights to Emmy Award-winning preschool series WordWorld.

The 52 x 11-minute literacy-based series debuted on PBS last fall and Mango has already concluded deals with Walt Disney Television International for its Playhouse Disney channel feeds in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

In addition, Korean public broadcaster Educational Broadcasting System (EBS) picked up free-TV, IPTV, and DVD rights to the series.
