While ninjas don’t make a sound, the upcoming TV series Mini Ninjas is leaving footprints all over the globe.

Co-produced by France-based Cyber Group Studios, TF1 Production and Enanimation, the action-comedy series for kids six to 11 has been sold to Disney XD (France), Disney Channel (CIS, CEE, Middle East, Africa and Latin America), Tele-Quebec (Canada), VRT (Belgium), RTVE Clan (Spain) and Spectrum (Indonesia). Cyber Group Studios adds that it is in the final stages of negotiation for a network deal in India.

Based on the video game and app from international distributor Square Enix, which sold more than a million units worldwide, Mini Ninjas (52 x 11 minutes) follows the adventure of a new generation of ninjas who fight to free innocent animals that have been transformed into frightful samurai by an evil wizard warlord. The 2D toon will be fully delivered by March 2015.
