With roughly five million downloads and counting, Sago Mini apps from Toronto, Canada-based children’s digital developer Sago Sago are getting the toy treatment. Toronto-based toymaker Monster Factory is set to introduce four plush dolls based on the popular preschool brand.
The first line of plush includes Harvey the dog, Jinja the cat, Robin the bird and Jack the rabbit. Available for pre-order online starting today, and arriving at specialty retailers throughout North America in late November, each plush will carry a suggested retail price of US$24.95.
Established as zinc Roe when it launched in 2001, the company changed its name to Sago Sago when was acquired by children’s app developer Toca Boca last year. Its suite of 1o ad- and in-app-purchase free Sago Miniapps are currently available at the Apple App Store.
