Paris-based PGS Entertainment has secured a pay-TV deal with Turner Broadcasting’s newly re-branded co-viewing kids and family channel Boomerang for Tat Productions’ and Master Films’ animated series The Jungle Bunch to the Rescue!

The award-winning series is destined for Boomerang’s European channels in the UK, Benelux, Italy, the Nordics and Eastern Europe, as well as its channels across Southeast Asia in countries including—but not limited to—Brunei, the Philippines, Burma, Cambodia, China, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Mongolia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Tahiti, Thailand, Vietnam and Taïwan.

Commissioned by France Télévisions, the new 52 x 11-minute season is based on original movie The Jungle Bunch: Back to the Ice Floe.

The Jungle Bunch season one follows the comedic adventures of a penguin, a tiger and a gorilla and was developed by both Super RTL and France Télévisions. It currently airs in more than 180 territories on broadcasters such as France 3, Rai, TVE and ABC Australia.

The Boomerang deal follows Super RTL’s recent pre-buy for the new season.
