Newly renamed ITV Global Entertainment has sealed a first-look, exclusive distribution pact with two-year-old UK prodco Kindle Entertainment.
Let by former Granada Kids exec Anne Brogan and partner Melanie Stokes, Kindle has agreed to works with ITV to develop kids projects for the global content market. Pitched at Cartoon Forum last month, the first project under the deal The Trubadours is on its way to getting off the ground.
Worldwide distribution rights to new 90-minute feature Dustbin Baby is also part of the deal. The family drama is slated to bow on BBC1 this Christmas.
