Following in the footsteps of her famous father Gordon Ramsay, 13-year-old Tilly Ramsay is getting ready to cook up a storm in Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, a new series that will air on UK pubcaster CBBC next year.
Commissioned by CBBC controller Cheryl Taylor, the reality-based sitcom (15 x 15 minutes) is being produced by One Potato Two Potato, a joint-venture prodco founded by celebrity chef Ramsay and Optomen Television. (It was acquired by All3Media Company in 2010.)
Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch follows the tween baker as she and her family (including dear old dad) spend a summer in L.A., where she makes her way through the preparation of numerous US and British dishes.
Executive producer for the CBBC is Hugh Lawton, with Paul Ratcliffe, Gordon Ramsay, Pat Llewellyn and Sue Murphy executive producing for One Potato Two Potato.
