• Today a nearly 6,100-square-foot Babies ‘R’ Us opened at the New York City Times Square Toys ‘R’ Us location. The department features an assortment of traditional baby items. To mark the department’s grand opening, the store will host a celebration featuring a book signing event on Thursday, September 4, and additional activities.
• The Australian Children’s Television Foundation has completed several international sales for the popular live action kids’ series Lockie Leonard. The series will make its Spanish-language debut on Cartoon Network Spain (through Luk Internacional) and Cartoon Network Latin America next year.
