• Erky Perky, the CGI-animated series co-produced by Australia-based Ambience Entertainment and CCI Entertainment in Canada is in pre-production for a third season. The new 26 x 11-minute eps the duo will continue on their hunt for food in a squeaky clean kitchen.

• Barcelona, Spain-based Imira Entertainment is introducing its latest original series Myo & Ga at Cartoon Forum, taking place from September 16 to 19 in Ludwigsburg, Germany. The 3-D animated series for kids six and up is a co-production with Korea's VOOZ Character Systems and Korean animation channel, Tooniverse.

• On the heels of this summer's first-ever Nickelodeon Family Cruise with Royal Caribbean, the kidsnet and cruise company have announced they're teaming up again to offer two more Nick-themed cruises in summer 2009. The Mariner of the Seas will journey to the Western Mexican Rivera and the Freedom of the Seas will tour the Eastern Caribbean.
