Paris, France-based Marathon Media and Studio 37 have gotten underway on pre-production for the first animated feature film based on Marathon’s hit TV series Totally Spies!
Cast as a prequel, the film will endeavor to explain the origins of the TV series’ adventuresome group of teenagers with a penchant for espionage. Studio 37 is on-board as a co-producer and the feature has been presold to Films de l’Elysee in Benelux, Mikado in Italy and SPI in Eastern Europe.
The US$12-million dollar production is expected to be delivered in 2009.
