Motion Pictures has appointed Planeta Junior as its licensing agent in Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, Turkey and Eastern Europe for upcoming animated series Pumpkin Reports.

Planeta Junior will be responsible for managing the IP’s extension into toys, editorial, promotions, sponsorship, licensing/merchandising and digital/interactive products.

Produced by Motion Pictures, Sample and Young Jump Animation, in collaboration with TVE, Televisió de Catalunya, ICEC (Institut Català de les Empreses Culturals) and RAI, the 52 x 11-minute series is aimed at kids six to 10 and will premiere this Christmas.

Mixing action and comedy, Pumpkin Reports is about a super-popular 11-year-old boy whose life is turned upside down when a massive flaming orange ball lands on his otherwise peaceful hometown. Shortly after his family adopts a pair of seemingly innocent siblings, Teresa and Goliat, Max discovers that the mysterious kids are actually alien spies planning an intergalactic invasion, and he takes it upon himself to save the world.
