One-liners: Noteworthy news nuggets

· ITV today announced that Gerry Donohoe, MD of Granada Ventures, part of ITV Worldwide, is leaving the company. Donohoe has been with ITV for more than 17 years and is slated to depart at the end of April after supporting the merger of Granada Ventures and Granada International into one single content exploitation division.



· Elastic Rights has recently sold animation and live-action series Mama Mirabelle's Home Movies to Portugal's pubcaster, RTP. The series is a co-production between National Geographic Kids Entertainment, BBC/CBeebies and King Rollo Films.



· Shaftesbury Films' live-action comedy television series, Life with Derek is headed to DVD in North America in Q4 2008. KOCH Vision will distribute DVDs of the first three seasons, totaling 52 half-hours.
