Jakks Pacific is gearing up to bring more superhero to the toy aisle, following a licensing deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to manufacture, distribute and market play products based on the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice from Warner Bros. Pictures and RatPac Dune Entertainment.

Jakks will launch a Batman v Superman line next spring, to coincide with the film’s theatrical release on March 25.

The agreement also includes a domestic and international renewal for the full DC Comics franchise. New product lines including large-scale action figures and vehicles, accessories, games and wagons are slated to launch at US retail this fall.

This latest deal between the California-based toymaker and WBCP stems from a long-standing partnership that last year saw the release of a Big Figures toy line based on Warner Bros.’ and Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla film.
