Ragdoll vet Andrew Kerr is trading in Teletubbies for Postman Pat and Rupert as he moves over to Entertainment Rights to take the post of executive director of international consumer products and marketing.

Kerr is scheduled to join the ER fold on March 26th and will be working out of the company’s London office, reporting directly to Jane Smith, chief commercial and creative director. It’s a new position at ER, and Kerr is charged with further aligning its UK and international licensing and brand divisions to implement global strategies for its portfolio of properties.

Prior to making the move, Kerr was EVP of global licensing & marketing, and member of the board of directors, at Ragdoll. During his seven-year stint at the company, he set up its New York office and later oversaw the global licensing launch of its current hit property In the Night Garden.
