Australia Broadcasting Corporation’s distribution arm, ABC Commercial, is launching new content based on preschool series The Wiggles.

The widely-popular female Wiggle Emma now has her own 30 x four-minutes series, Emma!, which premiered on ABCKIDS in June. During each episode she invites her audience into a special bow room and hosts new adventures, including singing, ballet and Wiggly songs.

ABC Commercial is also set to roll out musical The Wiggles Meet the Orchestra. In the 60-minute special, The Wiggles and friends Andy the Conductor, Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog perform their songs with the help of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

ABC Commercial also reps a handful of other Wiggles series, including Baby Antonio’s Circus (39 x three minutes), The Kingdom of Paramithi (52 x seven minutes and 30 x 30 minutes) and Dorothy the Dinosaur (series one and two both 26 x seven minutes, series three 52 x seven minutes). ABC Commercial will be showcasing these series and new Wiggles content at next month’s MIP Jr.

Ready, Steady, Wiggle (104 x 11 minutes), featuring the new Wiggles characters, launched last year at Mipcom. It currently airs on ABCKIDS and on Hulu in the US. The fab four—Emma (yellow) Anthony (blue), Simon (red) and Lachy (purple)—spent 2014 touring the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Dubai and have released four new CDs and DVD.
