In an effort to bolster its licensed product offering, New York-based kids apparel manufacturer Kahn Lucas has tapped Nicole Piper to lead the effort as its new VP of licensing.
Kahn Lucas, which specializes in girls apparel, already holds licenses to Dora the Explorer and several Disney properties, including Classic Pooh and Hannah Montana. Piper will be tasked with building the manufacturers portfolio and further cementing relationships with US retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target.
Most recently Piper worked for Pokémon USA, where she helped to rebuild its licensing business in North and South America, Australia and New Zealand. And before that, she served 12 years at MTV Networks, rolling out consumer products plans in more than 30 countries.
