• London-based Galleon Holdings has acquired Hong-Kong-based media company Phoenix Investment Global Limited for US$3.07 million. Phoenix specializes in the provision of interactive broadcast television services which allow broadcasters in China and South East Asia to provide interactive entertainment through TV, online and mobile.

Entertainment Rights has secured the worldwide distribution rights (excluding North America) for Toopy and Binoo from Montreal, Canada-based Spectra Animation. The agreement gives ER the rights to two series as well as interactive TV segments. The second series should be delivered by Spring 2008.
