Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products has appointed Ulrich W. Klein to run its division in Germany as a regional VP.
Klein will be responsible for managing NVCP’s existing German L&M business across all brands (including Nick, MTV, Viva and Comedy Central), as well as sussing out new opportunities for the on-the-ground team to pursue. He’ll also work towards developing client relationships with existing and potential licensees and stepping up retail promotion efforts.
Klein has earned his stripes in a wide variety of leadership roles, working most recently as GM of strategy and consulting firm Frog Design Europe. Before that, he put in some time at Disney Consumer Products as VP of creative development for Eurasia and then VP of sales and business development.
