While NBC has just announced it’s withdrawing its entire content lineup from the US iTunes outlet (see KidScreened), MTV Networks has made its first deal to distribute shows through iTunes outside the country. The MTV/Apple agreement will see MTV and Nickelodeon full-length series becoming available for download at the UK iTunes Store.
MTVN has selected 14 of its top-rated shows for the launch, including full seasons of Dora the Explorer, Avatar: The Legend of Ang, Drake & Josh and SpongeBob SquarePants.
Starting today, UK customers can purchase each ep for US$3.80 and download it to their iPods or PCs.
