HIT Entertainment has appointed FCI Brands to represent the company’s portfolio of preschool properties in Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, FCI is one of the leading character licensing groups in Asia, and it currently represents Turner Entertainment, Paws Inc. and MGA Entertainment.
HIT staples Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder, Barney & Friends and Pingu now fall under FCI’s umbrella, and the company will work towards bolstering their merch presence in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei and Vietnam.
The agency will report to HIT’s Hong Kong office, which was established in September 2006 to better service the IP owner’s growing base of licensees, agents and broadcasting partners in the region.
