Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh: Really Big Shrimp TV movie scored some sizeable ratings during its premiere on Friday, August 3. According to Nielsen data, the film ranked as the highest-rated TV movie ever with tweens ages nine to 14 and total viewers in Nickelodeon history, besting the Drake & Josh Go Hollywood TV movie by 4% with tweens and by 6% with kids two and up.
More than 5.8 million viewers tuned in to watch the movie. Kids were also able to cast votes online for their favourite eps of the series and helped program the eight-hour Drake vs. Josh marathon held the following day. Nick.com received approximately 625,000 votes during the week-long poll.
