Why mess with a good thing? Warner Bros. Consumer Products has extended its licensing agreement with Rubie’s Costume Co. The Richmond Hill, New York-based manufacturer will continue to produce Batman costumes, costume accessories and boxed costume sets, and it’s picked up the costume rights to big-budget 2008 film The Dark Knight, sequel to 2005’s Batman Begins.
Rubie’s currently serves as master costume licensee for the Batman property, creating a number of items inspired by the classic comic book character and his many on-screen incarnations. You can bet that a number of new items will roll out for Halloween 2007.
