Corus Entertainment unveils fall sked

Yep, it's that time of year again. Like kids who can't wait until September to don their shiny new school duds, broadcasters have started trotting out their fall schedules. Corus Entertainment-owned Canuck kidcasters YTV, Discovery Kids Canada and Treehouse are the latest to announce their upcoming lineups.

Yep, it’s that time of year again. Like kids who can’t wait until September to don their shiny new school duds, broadcasters have started trotting out their fall schedules. Corus Entertainment-owned Canuck kidcasters YTV, Discovery Kids Canada and Treehouse are the latest to announce their upcoming lineups.

Original YTV/Nerd Corps co-pro Storm Hawks is the net’s headliner, slated to take the prime Saturday morning 10 a.m. spot starting September 8. Meanwhile, Nickelodeon’s Naked Brothers Band joins The Zone after-school block on Monday, September 10 at 5 p.m.

At Discovery Kids, CGI series The Zula Patrol takes the lead on September 3 at 4:30 p.m., and cooking challenge series Surprise! It’s Edible! Incredible! will premier on Monday, September 3 at 7 a.m.

Over at 24/7 preschool channel Treehouse, the new Sinking Ship Productions/Nat Geo Kids travel show Are We There Yet? joins the sked on Monday, September 3 at 7:55 a.m. New eps of returning series The Backyardigans, Elmo’s World, Global Grover and Play With Me Sesame will also be rolled into the Treehouse lineup.
