People moves: Two new appointments stick at Glu Mobile

In an effort to bolster its global reach and keep its new development studio in Beijing and offices in Italy and Spain humming, San Mateo, California-based mobile game publisher Glu Mobile has made two key promotions. Jill Braff, who formerly held the position of SVP of worldwide marketing and general manager of the Americas, has been upped to SVP of global publishing. In the new post, she's taking the reins of Glu's now worldwide licensing, marketing and sales efforts.

In an effort to bolster its global reach and keep its new development studio in Beijing and offices in Italy and Spain humming, San Mateo, California-based mobile game publisher Glu Mobile has made two key promotions. Jill Braff, who formerly held the position of SVP of worldwide marketing and general manager of the Americas, has been upped to SVP of global publishing. In the new post, she’s taking the reins of Glu’s now worldwide licensing, marketing and sales efforts.

Additionally, Alex Galvagni, the company’s chief technology officer, has picked up the title of SVP of global development and is now responsible for product development, technology services, porting and deployment.

Currently, Glu’s global network reaches more than 1.3 billion mobile subscribers via 150 wireless carriers and the company has created titles based on properties from Atari, Activision, Konami, Hasbro and Warner Bros.
