People moves: Fox names Nelson VP of worldwide promotion

Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising has appointed Howard Nelson to the position of VP of worldwide promotion. As part of his remit, Nelson will oversee the development and implementation of new and existing marketing and promotional programs for Twentieth Centruy Fox Television properties.

Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising has appointed Howard Nelson to the position of VP of worldwide promotion. As part of his remit, Nelson will oversee the development and implementation of new and existing marketing and promotional programs for Twentieth Centruy Fox Television properties.

Nelson joins Fox from Starz Entertainment, where he was VP of brand marketing and established all national promotions and licensing for a number of productions including Cartoon Network series Hellboy Animated.

Having held similar positions at The Disney Channel, Sony Pictures Television and Sony Wonder Home Entertainment, Howard comes to Fox with a surfeit of entertainment marketing experience.
