To shore up its new operations, Paris-based Viz Media Europe has made two key appointments. Pascal Bonnet will head up the licensing and brand management division for the manga/anime-driven company, while Isabelle Aghina has been tapped to oversee TV and DVD sales and distribution.

Bonnet will work closely with key partners throughout Europe to grow VME’s consumer products business and design a consistent brand strategy across all platforms and Aghina will be tasked with selling VME’s library of TV and DVD across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

With more than 14 years of experience in licensing and brand management, Bonnet most recently held the post of US director of licensing at French video game publisher Ubisoft. Meanwhile, Aghina left the post of VP of international sales at Marathon Group to join Viz, bringing 10 years experience in TV sales to the company.
