Welsh prodco Calon has made its entrée into the mobile market with the sale of its first animated series designed for the platform to UK mobile distributor Player X. Big Tattie is a 35 x 30-second series of humorous keep-fit tips designed to attract and hopefully compel youngish couch potatoes to get off their keesters.
Player X will air the series on its GeekTV mobile platform and the toon has also landed an old-fashioned broadcast berth on S4C. The pubcaster has picked up 20 eps to put online and on-air throughout its coverage of the Rugby World Cup in September and October.
