Maryoku Yummy series being developed

American Greetings Properties has signed a co-pro deal with India's DQ Entertainment to put 52 x 11-minute series Maryoku Yummy (featured in KidScreen's April '07 edition of Cool New Shows) into production.

American Greetings Properties has signed a co-pro deal with India’s DQ Entertainment to put 52 x 11-minute series Maryoku Yummy (featured in KidScreen‘s April ’07 edition of Cool New Shows) into production.

Jymn Magon, writer and editor on Duck Tales, Rescue Rangers and Winnie The Pooh is on board to craft episode scripts and oversee the direction of the new preschool series.

DQ Entertainment will hold entertainment distribution rights for broadcast and home video in France and India, along with merchandising rights in India. And American Greetings Properties has retained all other broadcast and merch rights. The company is currently in talks with several broadcasters to deliver the series for Fall 2008 and has started looking for publishing, toy, apparel, accessories, and home entertainment partners.
