Canadian kidnet YTV is peppering its August lineup with a host of special events designed to keep kids watching while the mercury climbs. Starting on August 27, the net will use its 6:30 p.m. slot to preview new acquisitions including Storm Hawks and Legion of Superheroes, as well as fresh eps of El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera and My Life As A Teenage Robot.
The aptly named ‘No Pants Day’ is scheduled for August 15th featuring pantless episodes of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, Grossology, The Fairly OddParents and SpongeBob SquarePants.
In addition to these programming events, the net has added movie slots on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, featuring kids flicks such as The Sandlot 2, Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild and The Great Outdoors.
