Disney Channel has made a few executive moves appointing Frank Keating as the network’s VP of marketing, promoting Ron Pomerantz to VP/creative director, and Veronica Davidson to VP of on-air production.
Keating is now responsible for all off-channel marketing initiatives for Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney, Toon Disney and Jetix Brands. Keating recently shepherded off-channel marketing programs for the launches of High School Musical 2 and My Friends Tigger & Pooh. Prior to joining Disney Channel, Keating was VP marketing at Warner Bros. Worldwide Television.
Pomerantz was most recently executive creative director for Disney Channel. In his new role, he’s overseeing the creative direction of all on-air promotion and branding.
Davidson, meanwhile, is looking after the distribution of all promotional materials on the net’s various worldwide platforms and will also develop, implement and manage the global asset site. Prior to her promotion, she served as executive director of on-air promotion and production.
The trio now reports to Richard Loomis, Disney Channel SVP of marketing and creative.
