MTV Networks Music Group has signed an exclusive deal with Gain, creator of the proprietary system Bomb-xx that develops new-media versions of comic books, graphic novels and children’s books. The new products will be customized across multiple platforms including computers, portable video players, game consoles and mobile phones.

MTV brands will be the first to fuel the unique hybrid products and plans are in the works to roll it out to other Viacom-owned properties in the future.

Gain made its mark with their Bomb-xx adaptations of comics for major movie studios, including Fox Atomic’s first film Turistas. Gain also created original works for the Weinstein Company’s movies Arthur and the Invisibles and The Protector, and an adaptation of Marvel Comics’ Ultimate Spider-Man.
