With both Carl² and Roboroach in rotation on Teletoon, Toronto, Canada’s Portfolio Entertainment has promoted Jon Rutherford to oversee distribution of its growing catalogue and look for third-party properties to beef it up even more.
Working as director of sales and acquisitions, Rutherford will now sell and mine in Europe, Latin America, the US and Canada.
Rutherford joined Portfolio in October 2004 and most recently served as sales manager. Before that, he worked as an operations supervisor for post house Technicolor, where he oversaw post-production and client services.
