4Kids Entertainment has bumped SVP Carlin C. West to the role of EVP of acquisitions and development. With the company for 12 years, West will utilize her extensive marketing, licensing, PR and brand-building experience to direct the upcoming launch of Chaotic, the company’s multi-platform trading card game property.
In her new role, West is responsible for managing all aspects of the new franchise including overseeing marketing, PR, trade and consumer advertising, coordination of the brand’s licensing program and working with 4Kids Productions on the animated series.
At the same time, Rosalind C. Nowicki moves up to EVP of marketing and licensing from her former SVP post. Nowicki has been with the company for six years and will now head up the division that takes care of 4Kids propertiesTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cabbage Patch Kids, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Prior to joining the company, Nowicki was VP of soft lines licensing for Universal Studios.
