London-based Acamar Films is launching new app  Bing Baking based on its CBeebies’ preschool series Bing. The app is produced by Acamar Films and was co-developed with the digital team at Bristol-based prodco Aardman Animations.

The first app inspired by Bing features a game-based format and is designed to encourage creativity and curiosity through simulated baking activities.

Bing Baking is the first title in a new planned series of Bing digital content aimed specifically at preschoolers and will be available on all mobile platforms. Additionally, Bing’s consumer products program is also ramping up, with more than 18 licensees signed on for the property’s UK licensing program, including Fisher-Price (toys), Ravensburger (games), Woodmansterne (greeting cards), HarperCollins (books) and Studiocanal (DVDs).

The app will be available in the AppStore from July 14 and on Google Play and Amazon from August 11.
