Mike Young Productions, Gamania Digital Entertainment and Cartoon Network International have joined forces to produce the new Flash-animated series Hero: 108.

Intended to capture the hearts and minds of kids six to 11, the comedy/adventure series is being produced with an eye towards online gaming and interactivity. No doubt the show’s creators are drawing heavily on the expertise of co-production partner Taiwan-based Gamania (the largest publisher of online multi-player games in Asia) to craft the multi-media elements.

The goal is to create a striking visual style that will set the series apart from current action fare. The series revolves around 14-year-old Lin Chung, a young warrior with special powers. Lin is part of a group of kid defenders determined to end a conflict between animals and humans in a hidden kingdom.
