• Postman Pat will be delivering his goods in China, now that owner Entertainment Rights has secured a major broadcast deal with China Central Television. The show is set to bow on the pubcaster later this year and reach a potential audience of 367 million children.
• Star Farm Productions and Bardel Entertainment’s Edgar & Ellen is now being distributed by Cake Entertainment, which has inked deals for the TV series and shorts with NRK in Norway, SRC in Canada, Noga Communications in Israel, and LUK International in Spain, Portugal and Andorra.
• Famed composer Marvin Hamlisch has joined Sheira & Loli’s Dittydoodle Works as musical consultant. The second season of 14 episodes bows nationally next month on WLIW New York Public Television, and the show is distributed by American Public Television.
