Barcelona, Spain’s Icon Animation has inked a few more deals for its popular girls toon Lola & Virginia.

The 52 x 12-minute series has been picked up by SBT in Brazil, where Creative Licensing will handle the merch rights. In Europe, Ireland’s TG4 has acquired the show from Icon’s co-distributor Millimages, while Kanal D (Romania) and free-TV net MUZ TV (Russia) made their buys straight from the producer.

Lola & Virginia premiered in the US on Animania last June before rolling out on Nick Latin America the following month. The show has also been picked up in dozens of territories around the world.

Looking to grow that footprint, Icon will be shopping the series and its multilingual online content at MIPTV later this month.
