Looking to widen its mobile penetration, MTV Networks Kids and Family Group has inked a deal with Amp’d Mobile that will transit content from Nickelodeon and The N to the mobile TV network this week. Furthermore, his porousness SpongeBob SquarePants will have his very own channel on Amp’d Live by Q2.

But before that gets off the ground, Nick is testing the service with a branded area designed to beam 30-second to two-minute clips of network hits SpongeBob SquarePants,Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Fairly Odd Parents and Drake and Josh onto cell phone handsets. Content will get a refresh every two weeks, and consumers can access the shows through a variety of Amp’d subscription packages.

Full episodes should be available on the SpongeBob SquarePants channel, although subscription prices and availability are still under wraps.
