US 24-hour basic cable net Toon Disney is dipping into the family vault and getting ready for spring with a four-hour movie block set to air every weekday beginning Monday, April 2nd.

Dubbed the Spring Break Animal Beach Party, the lineup includes full-length animated features Lilo & Stitch, The Emperor’s New Groove 2: Kronk’s New Groove, The Fox & The Hound, Tarzan, and Bambi 2. The films will air at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. all week as an extension of Toon Disney’s Big Movie Show block that starts at 5 p.m. each weekday.

According to 2007 Nielsen ratings, the Big Movie Show has boosted Toon Disney’s time period ratings from the previous year (including the kids two to 11 demo) by 9% to a 1.2 share. Ratings are up 11% from last year to a 1.0 share for six to 11s.

The net is currently available in 60 million US households.
