People moves: Chorion Silver Lining pads in-house production with three hires

London, England-based Chorion is growing its US subsidiary Chorion Silver Lining with three key appointments in an effort to ramp up for more in-house production. Rita Weisskoff joins as VP of content and creative development, while former Sesame Workshop VP of creative development Kurt Mueller steps in as VP of creative and Karen Ialacci is tapped as VP of production.

London, England-based Chorion is growing its US subsidiary Chorion Silver Lining with three key appointments in an effort to ramp up for more in-house production.

Rita Weisskoff joins as VP of content and creative development, while former Sesame Workshop VP of creative development Kurt Mueller steps in as VP of creative and Karen Ialacci is tapped as VP of production.

Weisskoff will be responsible for integrating educational content into all properties in development and production. She’ll also oversee online strategies for Dragon Tales, Max & Ruby, Little Bill and Ghostwriter.

For his part, Mueller is guiding the development and production of The Mr. Men Show and Gaspard and Lisa.

Ialacci, who previously held posts at MTV Networks/VH1 and Sesame, will also be working on The Mr. Men Show.
