German licensing firm m4e is sticking to its guns with two new boy-centric acquisitions from Canadian and Italian producers. The company will handle German-language rights for new media, music, merchandising and publishing on Storm Hawks from Vancouver, Canada-based Nerd Corps and Rainbow’s Huntik.

The 52 x 30-minute action-adventure toon Storm Hawksis currently in production, and tells the story of young warriors battling an evil empire. Nerd Corps already has fall 2007 broadcast deals with Cartoon Network and France 3, along with a master toy deal with Toronto, Canada’s Spin Master.

Huntik, meanwhile, is a 26 x 30-minute action-adventure romp being co-produced by Italy’s Rainbow and Ireland’s Big Boca for delivery in 2008. The epic 2-D animated series features teenage heroes battling mythological monsters with the help of sorcerers and magic. The property currently has a trading card and collectible deal with Upper Deck Entertainment in the US.
