London, England-based online marketing and creative agency Digital Outlook is launching its own in-house production division to develop character-based IP.

And steering the company’s foray into entertainment content is Angus Fletcher, former European president of Jim Henson Television. The BAFTA-winning exec will join company founders Jens Bachem (MD) and Dino Burbidge (creative director) as executive producer, and his goal is to develop/test original content online and then migrate select concepts to traditional channels including TV, licensing and publishing.

The new studio has an eye on all demographics and genres, and will be on the lookout for potential co-production partners.

Digital Outlook counts companies such as Chorion, Aardman and Xbox amongst its marketing clients.
