Cartoon Network continues to expand its dual-demo approach to licensing Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. This time, Emeryville, California-based ELA giant LeapFrog has licensed the property for its Leapster Learning Game System, aimed squarely at five- to eight-year-olds.

In the upcoming Foster’s Leapster title, characters from the hit show will encourage kids to develop better reading and spelling skills as they compete in letter and word searches, play virtual basketball and hunt for hidden treasure.

The Leapster system retails for US$79.99, with game cartridges starting at roughly US$25. The Foster’s game should hit mass retail this fall.
