At a gala ceremony on Saturday night that saw Star Wars creator George Lucas inducted into the Toy Industry Association Hall of Fame, the industry org also handed out its annual Toy of the Year Awards. And by the looks of a poll in KidScreen‘s January issue that asked our readers to predict T.O.T.Y. winners, we’d say you’re a pretty bright bunch. The group was dead-on in its Girl Toy, Boy Toy and Most Innovative Toy of the Year picks. And the year’s sensation T.M.X. Elmo garnered his fair share of accolades, scoring the coveted Toy of the Year and Infant/Preschool Toy of the Year honors. Congrats to all the nominees and winners!
