Australian toy manufacturer and distributor Hunter Products’ Shibajuku Girls fashion dolls are making their first appearance in the US exclusively at Toys “R” Us stores. The dolls, inspired by Japanese culture, will be available nationwide in December.

Inspired by Harajuku fashion (named after an hip boutique-filled area surrounding Tokyo’s Harajuku station), each doll has a distinct personality and their clothes feature a mix-and-match of bold colors and designs.

Toys “R” Us will exclusively offer the series one collection, which includes the Shizuka, Suki, Namika, Koe and Yoko dolls, online and in its stores across the US. Additional Shibajuku Girls dolls will be available in spring 2017.

The dolls have glass eyes and real eyelashes, stand at 13-inches tall and feature fully articulated bodies.

Last year, Hunter Products was appointed by Wicked Cool Toys to distribute the Wild Kratts-inspired toy line in Australia.
