Singapore-based content distribution and production agency Bomanbridge Media has inked sales for a number of kids programs to Discovery Kids Asia, TVB Hong Kong and JEI TV Korea.

Discovery Kids Asia has acquired Odd Squad, Chirp (pictured) and Giver. 

Earlier this year, Bomanbridge sold Odd Squad to Taiwan’s Public Television Service Foundation (PTS), Thai Public Broadcasting, Television Broadcasting Limited (TVB) in Hong Kong and Mediacorp Pte in Singapore.

Chirp is an animated series produced by Toronto’s Sinking Ship Entertainment. The show follows three best friends who use their imaginations and everyday objects to get them out of trouble.

Sinking Ship also produces Giver, which follows a group of kids as they engage with their local community to improve playground spaces. Discovery Kids Asia acquired three seasons of Giver, while two seasons of the show were also picked up by TVB Hong Kong.

South Korea’s JEI TV, meanwhile, acquired Box Yourself from Earthtree Productions in Norway. The series teaches kids how to recycle and upcycle while creating art projects.

In addition to the sales, Bomanbridge is now working with Earthtree and Sinking Ship to co-develop a format formula for Asia. The intention is to take the formulas worldwide, complete with producer training.

Bomanbridge also recently acquired Asian distribution rights to the animated series Mojicons from Denmark’s Ink Group.
