London-based content distribution company Media I.M. has signed a raft of broadcast deals with Disney for dialog-free CGI series Sunny Bunnies.
The deals with Media I.M., which has exclusive global rights to the toon outside of Russia, CIS and China, were inked across the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
The first season of the 52 x 3.5-minute show aimed at kids ages four to seven will launch on Disney Junior US this year, as well as on Disney’s CEEMA channels in all territories, on Disney Channel in Turkey and on free and pay-TV Disney Channels in Spain and Spanish-speaking Andorra. Disney Japan has also taken exclusive rights to the series in a deal that will mark the show’s broadcast premiere in the territory.
These deals add to previous sales of the series to Disney Channel in Russia and CIS, to Disney Junior for multiple Asia-Pacific markets, and to Canal Panda in Portugal.
The Sunny Bunnies are five beaming balls that appear anywhere there is light. The series was created by Belarus’ Digital Light Studio.
