Even for Roblox, this was an incredibly strong Q3. The wildly popular game-creation platform that just keeps getting bigger saw huge growth in revenue, bookings and daily active users this quarter. Here are some highlights from the company’s latest financial report.

Q3 revenue rising: US$1.35 billion, up 48% compared to Q3 2024

Pattern of success: This marks the eighth consecutive quarter of revenue growth at Roblox, Kidscreen has confirmed. Bookings and revenue also hit a record high this quarter, according to a spokesperson.

Bookings: US$1.9 billion, up 70%

Average daily active users: 151.5 million, up 70%

Hours engaged: 39.6 billion, up 91%

Engagement among users under age 13: up 67%

Monthly unique payers: 35.8 million, up 12 million

Top titles: Grow a Garden (a kid favorite) continued to be a standout performer, but two new experiences broke through in Q3:

  • Steal A Brainrot (Brazilian Spyder) – players try to steal items from each other
  • 99 Nights in the Forest (Grandma’s Favourite Games) – a spooky camping game

Both titles went viral on the platform this quarter, even though they were released in May and March, respectively. Steal a Brainrot racked up more than 25 million concurrent players earlier this month, according to Roblox, and its page notes 36.7 billion visits. 99 Nights in the Forest has 14.7 billion visits so far.

Updated guidance: After this especially strong quarter, Roblox is shifting its outlook for the rest of the year. Overall, the company now expects to achieve a 37% year-over year increase in annual bookings for 2025, from US$4.4 billion to US$6 billion.

Key takeaways: “User growth, content diversity and deepening engagement are driving the Roblox flywheel and yielding significant growth in monetization and a larger economic opportunity for our creator community,” reads the report. “At the beginning of the year, we aspired for our creators to earn over US$1 billion in 2025. We have achieved that goal in only nine months. Moreover, creator participation in our extraordinary growth is broad-based. Our top 1,000 creators are now earning an average of $1.1 million on an LTM [last 12 months] basis, up [by more than] 40% compared to one year ago.”
